To support our continued growth, we are looking for a hands-on Control Systems Engineer to improve and evolve the control systems of our bioreactor control towers.
We are seeking an industrial automation engineer, robotics engineer, electronic engineer, or a similar profile, with solid experience in PLC programming (Siemens) and a strong practical mindset. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty, testing systems in real environments, and solving problems directly on the equipment.
You will be responsible for programming and maintaining Siemens PLCs, improving existing control architectures, integrating sensors and actuators, debugging systems on-site, and collaborating closely with mechanical, process, and biotech teams to continuously enhance system performance and reliability.
Strong hands-on attitude and comfort with hardware, wiring, testing, and commissioning
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously
Curiosity and willingness to learn about bioprocesses and complex systems
PhD in Automation, Robotics, Electronics, Control Systems, or a related field (highly valued)
